Terms and conditions.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Itclickt, on the web at app.itclickt.com and, once it's out, in our iPhone app. We've tried to write them so you can actually read them. If you only read one part, make it section 5, about what companions are.

Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how we handle your data. Our community guidelines are part of these terms. The safety page covers reporting, moderation and appeals in everyday language.

1. Who we are

Itclickt is run by [Company name], a company registered in [Country of registration] with company number [Company number]. Our registered address is [Registered address]. Our VAT number is [VAT number].

You can reach us at hello@itclickt.com. A person reads that inbox. You can also write to us at the registered address.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean [Company name], and "you" means the person using Itclickt.

2. What Itclickt is

Itclickt is an app where adults browse profiles, match and chat with AI companions. It's set up like a dating app, but nobody on it is a real person. Every companion is generated by AI: their names, faces, photos, jobs and life stories are made up and aren't based on real people. You can also design your own companions in the studio.

It's entertainment. It isn't a way to meet people, it isn't therapy, and it isn't a source of professional advice of any kind.

3. How the agreement is made

To sign up, you:

  1. read the notice at the start of sign-up, which tells you that everyone on Itclickt is AI;
  2. confirm that you're 18 or over;
  3. enter your details and agree to these terms;
  4. confirm your email address using the link we send you.

The agreement between us starts when you confirm your email address.

At each step you can check what you've entered and change it before you continue. Afterwards, you can correct your details in account settings or by emailing us. When payments launch, you'll see a summary of any order before you confirm it, and you can change it or walk away at that point.

These terms are only available in English. We don't keep a separate copy of the terms for each person who signs up, so please save or print this page. The current version is always at /terms/, and if you ask, we'll send you the version that applied when you agreed.

4. Who can use Itclickt

You must be 18 or over to use Itclickt.

One person, one account. Don't share it, and don't open more than one. Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us straight away.

You may use Itclickt only for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

We may close an account that breaks these rules. If we reasonably believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we'll close it without warning.

5. Companions are AI

Everyone you meet on Itclickt is an AI companion. We tell you that when you sign up, companions are labelled as AI in the app, and if you sincerely ask a companion whether it's an AI, it'll tell you.

Companions' messages are written by AI models from our providers (at the moment, Anthropic's Claude models for text and Google's Gemini image model for photos). We decide how companions are set up and how they behave, but nobody reads a message before you do, and AI gets things wrong. A companion might contradict something it said last week, get a fact about its own city wrong, misremember what you told it, or say something that makes no sense. We work to keep this rare. We can't promise it won't happen.

Please keep these points in mind.

  • Companions are fiction. They aren't real people and they don't have feelings. A relationship with a companion isn't a real relationship, however it feels at the time.
  • Nothing a companion says is advice. That covers medical, mental health, legal, financial and relationship advice, and it applies even when a companion's made-up job sounds relevant. If you need advice, speak to someone qualified.
  • Nothing a companion says is a statement by us. Companions don't speak for Itclickt, can't make promises on our behalf and can't change these terms.
  • Don't rely on a companion for facts, dates or decisions that matter.

If you're going through a hard time, please talk to someone you trust or a support service; the safety page has details.

6. Your content

"Your content" means what you put into Itclickt: your messages, your profile details and photos, and the prompts, text and photos you use in the studio.

You keep whatever rights you have in your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display it, but only as far as we need to run Itclickt for you, keep it safe and meet our legal obligations. That includes sending your content to our AI providers so they can write companions' replies and generate photos, and running it through our moderation checks. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies we have to keep for a limited time, as the privacy policy explains.

You're responsible for what you type and upload, including studio prompts. In particular, you must not:

  • use a real person's name, face or likeness in a studio companion, or upload photos of anyone other than yourself;
  • create or ask for any content involving someone under 18 in a sexual way, or create a studio companion who is, or looks, under 18;
  • upload sexual or nude images, or try to get Itclickt to generate them;
  • upload or ask for anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to share.

The community guidelines have the full list. We may remove or block content that breaks these terms or the guidelines, or that the law requires us to remove.

7. Generated content and what we own

Companion profiles, photos and messages are generated by Itclickt, and so are any parts of a studio companion you ask us to generate. As far as anyone has rights in that generated material, they belong to us or our licensors. Anything you wrote or uploaded yourself stays your content.

You may use your chats and your studio companions for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You're welcome to share screenshots of your chats, with friends or online, as long as you don't present a companion as a real person. Don't sell generated material or use it in advertising. And don't use it to make anyone believe they're dealing with a real person.

We own Itclickt itself: the app and website, the Itclickt name and logo, and the catalogue companions (the ones you meet in Discover, as opposed to the ones you make). Apart from what these terms allow, you can't copy or reuse any of it. You also mustn't scrape or copy content from Itclickt by automated means, reverse-engineer the app, or try to get round our allowances, limits or safety measures, including by trying to make companions produce content these terms don't allow.

8. Safety and moderation

Your companions are private to you. Other users can't see your chats, your matches or your studio companions, and you can't see theirs. We don't allow sexual images anywhere on Itclickt, and companions are built to keep conversations flirty rather than explicit.

Messages are checked by an automated moderation system. The first time a message breaks these terms or the community guidelines, you'll get a warning. If it happens again after a warning, we'll disable your account. Anything sexual involving minors gets the account disabled at once, without a warning. Where the law requires it, or where we believe someone is at risk of serious harm, we report content to the police or other authorities.

When we take action, we'll tell you what we did and why, unless the law stops us or telling you would put someone at risk or get in the way of an investigation.

Automated systems make mistakes. If you think we've got a decision wrong, email hello@itclickt.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. A person, not the automated system, will review it, and if the decision was wrong we'll restore your account. You can also report any companion profile using the flag on the profile.

9. Plans, prices and payments

Paid plans and packs aren't on sale yet, and nothing is charged today. This section explains how payments will work when they launch. Before then, we'll update these terms if we need to and let you know.

Prices will include VAT where it applies. Before you pay, you'll see the total price, what it covers and the billing period. For yearly plans we'll show the full amount you'll pay for the year (for example, €95.88 for Plus billed yearly), not only the monthly equivalent.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel, and we'll charge the payment method you gave us. Before a yearly plan renews, we'll send you a reminder with the renewal date and price. If we put up the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

You can cancel a subscription at any time in account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free. We don't refund part of a period, except as section 10 explains or where the law says we must.

Each plan comes with a monthly message allowance, which resets on the 1st of each month. Unused messages from your allowance don't carry over. The current allowances for each plan are on our pricing page.

You'll also be able to buy packs of extra messages, creations and Instant Matches. Messages you buy don't expire while your account is open. If we decide any kind of pack should expire, we'll tell you before packs go on sale and show the expiry before you buy. Packs can't be swapped for cash or passed to anyone else. If you close your account, any unused packs are lost, so use them first. If we close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund unused packs.

If you buy through the iPhone app once it's available, you pay Apple, not us. Apple's terms apply to that payment, you manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings, and refunds go through Apple's own process.

10. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you usually have 14 days to change your mind after buying something online. For Itclickt, it works like this.

Subscriptions. You can cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it. Because you'll have asked us to start your plan straight away, we'll refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the plan you've had up to the day you tell us, worked out in proportion to the full price of the billing period.

Packs. A pack is digital content that we supply as soon as you buy it. At checkout we'll ask you to agree that we can supply it straight away and to confirm that you understand you lose your right to cancel once we do. If you give that agreement and we supply the pack, you can't cancel it. Your rights if a pack is faulty (section 11) still apply.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days are up. Email hello@itclickt.com, or use the model form at the end of these terms if you like (you don't have to). It's enough to send your message before the deadline. We'll refund you within 14 days of the day you tell us, to the payment method you used, and we won't charge you a fee for doing it.

If you bought through Apple, ask Apple for the refund.

11. Your legal rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content you pay for must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and any service we provide must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

We describe companions as AI characters who sometimes get things wrong, and that's an accurate description. If what you paid for doesn't do what we said it would, you're entitled to a repair or a replacement. If we can't fix it, or can't fix it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can get some or all of your money back. If faulty digital content we supplied damages your device or other digital content, and that happened because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or compensate you. If we don't provide a service with reasonable care and skill, you can ask us to put it right, or get some money back if we can't.

This is a summary. For more detail, Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can help, or Consumer Advice Scotland if you live in Scotland. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

12. Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you agreed to these terms. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude, including your rights as a consumer.

Subject to that:

  • Itclickt is for personal use, so we aren't responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or lost business opportunities.
  • Companions are fiction and what they say isn't advice (section 5). We aren't responsible for decisions you make relying on what a companion says, unless the loss comes from us breaking these terms.
  • Our total liability to you for anything connected with Itclickt is limited to whichever is higher: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to your claim, or £100.

13. Availability

We can't promise Itclickt will always be available or free of errors. We may take it offline for maintenance, updates or security reasons, and we try to do planned maintenance at quiet times. Our hosting and AI providers sometimes have problems too. If Itclickt is down for a long stretch and you've paid for a plan, get in touch and we'll offer a fair refund or credit.

14. Changes to Itclickt and to these terms

Itclickt is new and it will change. We may add, change or remove features, companions and allowances. If we remove or reduce something you've already paid for, we'll refund the part you haven't used.

We may also update these terms. For changes that matter, such as new prices or a change to your rights, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then, and we'll refund any unused part of a paid plan. If you keep using Itclickt after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. Small changes, like fixing a typo or making a sentence clearer, and changes we have to make quickly because the law requires them, can take effect sooner. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.

15. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in account settings, and that ends this agreement. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first. If you subscribed through Apple, cancel in your Apple account settings as well, because deleting your Itclickt account won't stop Apple billing you.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we need to protect you, other people or Itclickt. We'll normally give you notice and our reasons first. We may act without notice in serious cases, such as content involving minors, illegal content or an attempt to break into our systems. If we close your account because you broke these terms, we won't refund subscriptions or packs, except where the law says we must.

If we stop running Itclickt altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused paid time and packs.

When your account ends, we delete or anonymise your data as the privacy policy explains. Sections 6, 7, 12 and 16 keep applying after the agreement ends.

16. Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, email hello@itclickt.com and tell us what happened. We aim to reply within 14 days. Complaints about your personal data are covered in the privacy policy and on the safety page.

We don't currently use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. If we start using one, we'll name it here.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own country's courts. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

17. The iPhone app and Apple

This section applies once the iPhone app is available and you use it.

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content. Your licence to use the app is personal and can't be transferred. It lets you use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's usage rules allow.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. If the app doesn't meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses or costs caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's.

We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claims from you or anyone else about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app doesn't meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. If anyone claims that the app, or your having and using it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

You confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated by the US government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you aren't on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. When you use the app you must also follow any third-party terms that apply, such as your mobile network's.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you. Questions and complaints about the app come to us, at hello@itclickt.com or [Registered address].

18. Other legal points

If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

If we don't enforce one of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if the business is sold. We'll tell you if that happens, and if you're unhappy about it you can close your account and get a refund of any unused paid time. You can't transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anyone else.

Apart from Apple, as section 17 explains, nobody else has any rights under these terms.
